Lamour Workman has always had a passion for food. After graduating from Culinary School, she chose to hone her skill by working in France. When she returned to New York, she worked at some of the City’s finest restaurants/hotels- Waldorf Astoria’s Peacock Alley and Four Season’s Hotel’s Fifty Seven-Fifty Seven. She is and American Culinary Federation, Certified Executive Chef and has recently worked in fine food sales.
Now she has returned to her first love from childhood and that is—baking. As a young child she would bake classic southern cakes and cookies for family, friends and neighbors with dreams of someday owning a food business. Lovie, as she was nicknamed, is now making that dream a reality with Lovie’s Nostalgia-Modern Old School Treats.
